Albert Pitts was the son of Alexander L. Pitts and Martha Ann Huckaby. Albert was their fourth child and first child to be born in the Indian Territory.
He married Libbie Ethel Seney on 20 Mar 1912 in Big Cabin, Craig Co., OK. To this union six children were born 1) August Larrs 2) Prescott Ogene 3) Doyle Brooks 4) Ravanell Alexandria 5) Deward June and 6) Rueldine Ida Pitts.
He lived on his farm near Big Cabin until his wife died. After this Albert just wasn't the same anymore due to her loss, he lived with his son Doyle for a while and then later he moved into the nursing home in Vinita. He lived to be 99 years old and was 3 months shy of being 100 years when he died.
