Mrs. Thomas Hain, 346 North Salisbury street, West Lafayette, died yesterday at 5:25 p.m., after a sickness lasting three months. She was born in Carroll county, Mo., February 11, 1849, and came to Indiana in 1855. She became the wife of Thomas Hain, August 20, 1866. Of two children, one died in infancy and one at the age of three. The deceased leaves one brother, T. C. Jackson, and one sister, Margaret Albertson, both of West Lafayette. She was a member of the West Side Baptist church, where the funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Rev. P.O. Duncan officiating. Mrs. Hain was a dearly beloved elderly woman, who made friends of all her acquaintances. She will be sorely missed on the West Side.
