Mrs. Ludie Lambert of Cooter received word of the death of her brother, Edward Blessing, of Camarillo, Calif. He died of heart problems Saturday, October 12, 1985.

He was married to and is survived by his wife, Evelyn Cooper Blessing, who is a native of this area; two daughters: Karen and Pamela; and two grandsons, Brian and Darren, all of California.

Also surviving are four sisters: Ludie Lambert, Myrna Ferguson of Newbern, Tenn.; Johnnie Coffey of Russell Springs, Ky.; Alta Johnson of Greenville, Miss.; and four brothers: Alvin Blessing of Charlotte, N.C.; Bud Blessing of Newbern, Tenn.; and Clyde and Tom Blessing of St. Louis.

Edward was 67 years old and was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie Beckett Blessing and Homer Blessing. Also two brothers, Howard and Coy, preceded him in death.
