Born in Hancock County, Mrs. Denney was the daughter of John and Mary (Reeves) Leary. She attended Hancock County Schools and was a member of the Greenfield E.U.B. Church. The widow of Ransom R. Denney, whom she married July 31, 1887, she had lived in Crawfordsville since 1943.
Surviving are one son, Ray L. Denney; one granddaughter, Mrs. Paul Mielke; one great-grandson; two great-granddaughters; one sister, Mrs. Ellen Wilson of Mohawk; one brother, John Leary of Miami, Florida. Three brothers are deceased.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday from the Bright Funeral Home at Crawfordsville and at 4 p.m. Monday from the Pasco Memorial Mortuary, this city, with Rev. Phillip Hilsamer officiating.
Interment will take place in Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Mortuary after 1 p.m. Monday.
