Funeral services for the Jackson resident will be Friday at the Jennings-Lyons Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 p.m. the Rev. H. K. Cherry officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Owosso. A memorial masonic service will take place Thursday, 7:30 p.m. at Jennings-Lyon Chapel, by St. Charles Blue Lodge 113.
Mr. Kline was born in Owosso May 15, 1888, the child of John N. and Louisa (Ruess) Kline. He attended Owosso schools and resided most of his life in Detroit. He also lived in Florida for two years and lived in Jackson the past year.
In 1910, he married Ethel Nelson in Owosso. She died in 1942. In 1948 he married Pauline Walker in Detroit. She is also deceased.
A member of the St. James United Methodist Church of Detroit, he is also a member of St. Charles Blue Lodge 113 and has been a Mason 68 years.
Mr. Kline was employed at the Peoples Wayne County Bank in Detroit prior to his retirement.
Survivors include one son, Keith E. of Jackson, one daughter, Mrs. Robert Belknap of Jackson, one sister, Mrs. Bessie Hagen of Vernon, one brother, Jay of Owosso, two step-children, Kenneth K. Walker of Grosse Ile and Mrs. Helen Murphy of Livonia, six grand children and five great-grandchildren.
