Margaret A. Ward, 88, passed away at home the morning of July 21, 2013 in Lee's Summit, Mo. She was born Feb. 3, 1925, in Rosedale, Kan., to William and Anna Kohrs. She is survived by her son, Daryl (Sue) Strain of Lee's Summit; stepdaughter, Lynn Huss of Columbia; one brother, Don (Joan) Kohrs of Chillicothe; six grandchildren, Kevin, Scott, Jennifer, Kristen, Daniel, and Andy; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Ward; her parents, William and Anna; two sons, Daniel Strain and Redgie Ward; and two siblings, Billy and Donna Kohrs. A gathering in her memory will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at Memorial Funeral Home, and burial at 11:30 a.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery.
