He was a market manager for Safeway stores for 25 years and later retired as a state meat inspector with the U.S.Department of Agriculture.
He was a member of the First Christian Church;St.Bernard Lodge No.222, St.Bernard Chapter No.97 of the Order of the Eastern Star; Mizpah Shrine No.9 Order of teh White Shrine of Jerusalem; and Senior Friends all of Dodge City,Ks.
Survivors are wife of the home, three sons, Dean of SanMarcos,Tx, Donald of Hays and Rick of Shawnee,KS; two sisters, Ruth Ford of Quapaw, Okla and Garnett Ingels of Tulsa,Okla;; brother Frank of Joplin,Mo. and one sister,Jean Waclawski, of Novi,Michigan; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Vern,Dick and Jerry and one sister, Marge.
