Mrs. Lois A. Jones Widdoes, age 87 of Newark, DE, died on Friday, October 28, 2005, at Millcroft in Newark.

Lois was born September 19, 1918 in Frackville, PA. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend who loved oil painting, gardening and Big Band music.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert H. Jones; second husband, John A. Widdoes; and her son, Robert M. Jones. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Harkins of Frackville, PA; daughters, Judith L. Gouge of Wilmington, DE, Kim J. McKillips of Great Falls, VA and Wendy J. Donohoe of Alexandria, VA; son, John K. Widdoes of Elkton, MD; many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lois's family would like to offer a special thanks to Sandy Hellein for her wonderful friendship and compassionate care.

Friends may call 9:30-10:30 am on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at the SPICER-MULLIKIN FUNERAL HOME, 121 W. Park Place, Newark. A graveside service will follow at 11 am in Newark Cemetery, New Street.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the , 92 Reads Way, Ste. 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
