COOPER--Virgie Viola Yarbrough, 75, of Cooper died Monday, Nov. 27, 1995 at St. Joseph's Hospital and Heath Center in Paris.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Garrett of Whitewright officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Yarbrough was born in Bloomburg, Texas, April 22, 1920, a daughter of Solomon Robinson and Mary Elizabeth Stewart Robinson. In 1934, she married William Thomas Yarbrough. He died Nov. 1, 1994.
Surviving are a son, Lendel "Pete" Yarbrough; seven daughters, Laverne Clifton, Betty Barber, Anna Ackard, Norma Evans, Cloie Sveen, Donna Baker, and Wanda Yarbrough; 28 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Glen Yarbrough, in 1991
