COOPER--William Thomas Yarbrough, 86, of Cooper died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1994 at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center in Paris.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Gaddis officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Yarbrough was born March 19, 1908 in White Rock, a son of William Bradley and Della Mason Yarbrough. He was a farmer and lived in California for about 20 years before returning to Cooper four years ago. He married Vergie Viola Robinson in 1934.
Surviving are his wife; one son, Lendell Yarbrough; seven daughters, Laverne Clifton, Betty Barber, Anna Ackard, Norma Evans, Cloie Sedeen, Donna Baker, and Wanda Yarbrough; two brothers, Lon and Walter Yarbrough; one sister, Della Kendrick; 28 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Glen Yarbrough, Sept. 23, 1991.
