Helen Bryant, 90, of Jonesboro, AR., passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
She was born October 1, 1922, in Walcott, AR., to the late Bobby J. and Vera White Bowlin.
Mrs. Bryant was a retired hairdresser and co-owner of the Magic Hour Beauty Salon. She was a member of the North Main Baptist Church and had lived in Jonesboro since 1956.
Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, E.C. Bryant; a daughter, Debra Gail Bryant; two brothers, Lloyd and Bob (Junior) Bowlin; and two sisters, Daisy Horne and Euvene Bowlin.
Survivors include her son, Jim Bryant and wife Judy of Jonesboro; a daughter, Jean Puckett and husband Bill of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Terry Bryant, Jimmy K. Bryant, Carmi Cotros, Melissa Haskett and Ginger Puckett; five great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Ellen Fratello of Jonesboro and Bernell Orick of Stanford.
Chapel services were at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, in Jonesboro. Bro. Burial was held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Paragould.
