Mrs. Eva Ethel Worrell Sayers, 51, of Rt. 2, Pulaski, died Monday evening In the Pulaski Community Hospital.
Born in Pulaski County, May 4, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Wirt Worrell and Mrs. Eva Shockley Worrell.
Surviving are her widower, Eugene Sayers; one daughter, Mrs, Darlene Jones of Pulaski; her mother, Mrs. Eva Shockley Worrell of Max Meadows, and three grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Maudie Walker, Mrs. Wilma Stafford, Mrs. Lula Taylor, and Mrs. Annie Hawkins, all of Pulaski, and four brothers, William H. Worrell, Roy J. Worrell, and of Draper, and Tilden H. Worrell, of Radford.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Bob White Blvd. Church of God in Pulaski with the Rev. W. H. Talley Jr. and Rev. Daniel Ridpath officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Cemetery. The body will be taken to the home of Roy Hawkins In Newbern Heights by 5 p.m. today where it will remain until noon Wednesday when It will be taken to the church to lie in state before the service. Friends may call at the Hawkins home after 6 p.m. today. Bower Funeral Home in Pulaski is handling the arrangements.
