Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Patty had as guests at their home on Webster Friday their son, Billy Patty, and his bride, the former Dorothy Huesman of Bunkie, La.
The news of their wedding that was solemnized on June 1 is of interest to friends of the groom in this city. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Huesman in Bunkie.
Following their wedding trip to points in Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Patty will be at home at Dothan, Ala., where Mr. Patty is connected with Fire Companies Adjustment Bureau.
Mrs. Patty attended school in Bunkie and in New Orleans. Following graduation form Yazoo City high school Mr. Patty was graduated from Mississippi State College, and is well and favorably known to many in this section, who extend congratulations and best wishes.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy H. Patty will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2007, in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Pineville, with Rev. Bruce Miler officiating. Interment will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Alexandria under the direction of John Kramer & Son.
Dorothy "Dot" H. Patty, of Pineville, died Monday, June 25, 2007 in Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Pattry was an active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Pineville. She was a member of the Altar Society, the choir, and the Catholic Daughters Court Bishop Greco #2072. She was a registered nurse with the Baptist Hospital (Rapides Regional Medical Center) and the Texada, Miller, Masterson and Davis Clinic in Alexandria.
Her joys were her faith, her family, and her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard E. Patty, Jr.
Dorothy Patty leaves to treasure her memories one son, Dr. Bernard E. Patty, III and wife Gaynell Hromadka of Woodworth; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends are asked to call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at John Kramer & Son.
A Christian Wake service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
The family has requested that memorials be sent: Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Lakeview St., P.O. Drawer 3009, Pineville, LA 71361-3009 and Holy Savior Menard Central High, 4603 Coliseum Blvd., Alexandria, LA 71303-3599.
