Miss Jennie Boshart, aged 8I years, who was operated on Wednesday afternoon at the Nathan Littauer hospital, Gloversville, died Wednesday night at 11:35 at the hospital. Miss Boshart was taken ill last Friday and little hope was held out for her recovery from the start. She was born at the Boshart homestead between Johnstown and Fonda March 3. 1843. and had resided there all her life. She was one of the last to survive who attended the old Johnstown academy, where she specialized in music, painting and drawing. In 1886 Miss Boshart united with the Presbyterian church of Johnstown, of which Dr. Stuart was the pastor then, and later, about 1887, she transferred her membership to the United Presbyterian church, with the Late Rev. James A. Williamson. D. D., as pastor. She was active in the affairs of the church and a member of the Ladles aid society and also the Women's Christian Temperance union. The survivors are one brother, Daniel M. Boshart of the town of Johnstown; six sisters, Mrs. Kate Y. Boshart, Mrs. Helen B. Moore. Mrs, Alice B. Vosburgh of Johnstown and the Misses Dora, M. Isabella and Josephine F. Boshart of the town of Johnstown; a niece, Elsie V. Moore; a nephew, Herbert M. Vosburgh, and two grand-nephews, Richard M. and Robert D. Vosburgh: The funeral services will be held at the Boshart homestead Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, standard time. The Rev. James W. Hood, pastor of the United Presbyterian church of Johnstown, will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot at Johnstown Cemetery.
