Born January 8, 1933, he was the son of the late Harold Elliot and Mathel (Canfield) Ault.
Graduating from Bob Jones University in 1960, he faithfully served as pastor for many years in various locations, most recently at Clio Baptist Church in Clio, IO. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for three years.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Roberta Lee (Stogsdill) Ault; three daughters, Wanda Taylor of Fort Royal, VA, Elizabeth Conable and Naomi Smoker of Denver, CO; three sons, Wayne Ault of Taylors, SC, Philip Ault of Madrid, Spain, and Paul Ault of Portland, OR.; a sister, Kathryn Crabtree of Colorado Springs, CO; 16 grandchildren; five nieces; and six nephews.
A celebration of life was held at Heritage Bible Church, 2005 Old Spartanburg Road, Greer, conducted by Pastor Dan Brooks.
A family committal service followed at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens in Wellford.
