Merrill Wills, native of Hendricks county, died at Inglewood, Calif., Sunday. Funeral and burial services were at Inglewood. He was a brother of Frank Wills of Danville, Miss Nora Wills and Ralph Wills of Pittsboro. He had been employed by the U.S. Weather Bureau for over 40 years and served as chief of the Indianapolis bureau. He retired a year ago while chief of the Lansing, Mich., bureau. Survivors with his widow, Mrs. Helen Wills, are a daughter, Mrs. Constance Kohler, both of Inglewood; a son, Roger Wills, Lansing, Mich., the sister and two brothers.
