Wilma Josephine Hunley, 91, of Clay City, died at 5:55 PM on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, IL.

Mrs. Hunley was born June 8, 1922 in Lawrence County, IL to William Wallace and Martha Ann (York) Gray.

Jo crocheted blankets, afghans, flags and more for her family. She enjoyed visiting the Senior Citizens Center and playing Bingo with her friends. She religiously reads the Bible. Jo loved spending time with her family and friends. Jo was a member of the Women's Auxiliary Legion at Clay City. She was also a faithful member of the Community Southern Baptist Church in Clay City.

She married Lowell Grant Hunley on June 4, 1948 in Lawrence County, IL. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2011.

She is survived by son Robert Gray; Granddaughter, Tracy Pearson; Granddaughter Kelly Hilderbrand; Grandson Michael Peterson; Granddaughter Lori Clark; Great Grandkids Andy Hilderbrand, Kyle Pearson, Lindsay Pierson, and Reed Clark; Sisters Peg Hawley and Shirley Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years, daughters Rebecca Hunley and Patty Hunley; brothers Henry William Gray and Forrest Watson Gray.

Funeral services were held at Community Southern Baptist Church with Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in charge.

Burial was at Clay City Cemetery with Rev. Charlie Allen and Rev. Donnie Schaefer officiating.
