Bradley Hecox came to West Point as a young man from Meigs County, OH, acquiring several acres of land in and around the Village of West Point. From this property he gave land for the first West Point schoolhouse to be built. On February 16, 1841, in Adams County, he married Margaret Ann Morrow, born 1823 in Ohio, she died February 7, 1865. On January 8, 1867, Mr. Hecox married Catherine Herron DeMoss. The family were members of the West Point Christian Church. Mr. Hecox was elected Supervisor of St. Albans Township in 1873. They are buried in West Point Cemetery.

Note--At least one source shows that Bradley died in Fayette County, KY, but transcription of the West Point Cemetery and the article above both show him buried in this cemetery.
