Abe Burkhead was born 7 Oct 1868 in Nelson County, Kentucky. He is the son of Abraham Burkhead and Mary Jane Faulkner, (daughter of Emily Gilbert and Timothy Faulkner) He died the 4 February 1920. His death certificate incorrectly states his mother as Emily Forkner (Faulkner), who is his maternal grandmother. Wanda Faulkner Myers
