Dr. Andy A. Catey, 58, of Angola, Indiana died Saturday, July 6, 2013 at his Home in Angola, Indiana. He was veterinarian at All Paws and Claws/Catey Veterinary Clinic in Angola, Indiana. He was born March 1, 1955 in Coldwater, Michigan to Danial W. and Dorothy J. "Dee" (Johnstone) Catey. He graduated from Coldwater High School and Michigan State Veterinary School. He was a veteran of the United State Army. Andy married Danean S. "Dee" Gurk on August 18, 1973. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy J. "Dee" Catey of Coldwater, Michigan ; his wife Dee Catey of Angola, Indiana; his daughter Rachel M. Catey of Angola, Indiana; one brother Mike (Perri) Catey of Tulsa, Oklahoma, three sisters Cathy (Leon) Hansen of Coldwater, Michigan; Pat (Jim) Cook of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Barb (Wayland) Funk of Union City, Michigan and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Danial W. Catey. Services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Presbyterian Chapel of the Lakes, Angola, Indiana with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Rev. Thomas E. Smith will be officiating. Burial will be in Strange Cemetery, Grand Ledge, Michigan. Memorials may be given to the Steuben County Humane Society; Presbyterian Chapel of the Lakes; American Heart Association or the Donor's choice.
