Kenneth married Velta Lorraine (McGuyre) Stroder on February 14, 1951 in Osceola, Arkansas. Kenneth and Velta raised six children with love and laughter.
Kenneth's early years were spent rambling around Arkansas until he joined the Army in 1950, serving twenty years in the Army, traveling the world and serving the country. He served two tours in Korea, two tours in Vietnam and two more in Germany. He was awarded several medals for his service. After retiring from the Army, he worked for civil service for twenty years and retired from Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri.
