He was born on a farm near Turkey Creek, west of Hobart, Jan 14th, 1862, being 41 years and 12 days old at the time of death.
Hen was united in marriage to Frances Heidtman, a Hobart girl, in Chicago in the early 90's and is survived by a wife, one daughter eleven years old, father and two sisters, Mrs. Susan Krieter and Mrs. Mary Stoltz.
The funeral services were conducted yesterday forenoon at 8 o'clock at the St. Joseph Catholic church in Hammond and the remains were taken to the Turkey Creek Catholic cemetery for burial. The funeral was in charge of the Foresters, he being a member of Court Hobart. The pall bearers were from Court Hobart. The deceased was also a member of the State Saloon Keepers Association."
