Albert E. Nightingale, 91, of Lebanon, Oregon, died Friday, October 29, 1999, in Bend, Oregon of complications from pneumonia.
Mr. Nightingale was born, the son of Edward and Oral Nightingale in Wheaton. He and his family moved to Clay Center in 1942, and then moved to Lebanon in 1947 where he was a member of the Lebanon Methodist Church. He retired from U. S. Plywood in 1973 and for 15 years he and Vesta spent the winter in Hemet, California where he was a member of the Hemet Congregational church.
He married Vesta Packard, June 12, 1937, in Wheaton. She survives. Survivors also include two daughters, Phyllis Cash of Elko, Nevada and Betty Vincent of Sunriver, Oregon; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. His son, Charles, preceded him in death in April 1999.
A family memorial and internment service was held in the Lebanon I. O.O.F. cemetery on Thursday November 11.
