Katherine owned a mellow-brick double miner's cottage in Galena, Illinois. The house was built in 1838, and Katherine restored the structure to its early glory, revealing the history of Galena's lead mining era.

Frederick E. Worth, Jr. was Katherine's nephew. He was the son of Mary Delihant and Frederick E. Worth. His death notice, appearing in Rockford, Illinois' The Morning Star, indicated "his only living relative resided in Chicago." Fred died in Chicago.
