Donald Leroy Hollon was born July 25, 1933 in Creek County, Oklahoma to Glen Hollon and Lucille (Loyd) Hollon. He attended public school at River Bend and Milfay, OK. He joined the National Guard in 1949 and was inducted into the Army on September 1, 1950. He started to work at age 6 in the cotton and peanut fields on the family farm and continued to work hard until bad health forced him to retire. He enjoyed fishing, camping out, loved eagle watching, country and gospel music, trading and swapping everything from a to z. He was preceded in death by both his parents; sister, Glenna Branscum; son, Terry Hollon; and two grandchildren.
