Funeral services for Albert Milton Morehead, 74, of 128 Penmoken Park, who died a 1:15 a.m. yesterday at the Central Baptist Hospital after a short illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the W. R. Milward Mortuary Chapel.
The Rev. Lloyd Mahanes and the Rev. E. C. Gartrell will officiate and burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery. Services at the grave will be conducted by the Masons.
Mr. Morehead was admitted to the hospital about a week ago after suffering a heart attack at this home. He was a retired machinist and Clark County farmer. A native of Powell County, he was a son of the late Dwight C. and Catherine Louise Huls Morehead.
He had lived in Lexington since 1922 except for nine years spent in Dayton, Ohio and was a member of the Ashland Avenue Baptist Church, the International American Machinists of the AFL, Lexington Lodge No. 1 F&AM, and the Valley of Dayton Consistory Scottish Rite Masons.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Etta Buckingham Morehead; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Shulaw, Saginaw, Mich.; Mrs. Fred Griggin and Mrs. Thomas M. Little, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Eckhardt, Vici, Okla.; Mrs. Fannie Roundtree, Irvine, and Mrs. Myrtle Haddix, Lexington; four brothers, Dudley Morehead, Independence, Mo.; James Morehead, Kirksville, Mo., Clarence Morehead, Stanton, Ky., and Thomas Morehead, Dayton, Ohio and four grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Marvin Whitton, T. H. Chamk, Walter L. Fitch, Lloyd F. Bell, Rom E. Bell and Kenneth G. Bastze.
