Mrs. Al Giesen, 89, of Orange City, died Wednesday in the Orange City hospital.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Reformed Church of Orange City. Dr. Raymond Van Heukelom and The Rev. Perry Raak officiated and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City under the direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City.

Mrs. Giesen, the former Agnes Dykstra, was born Aug. 20, l887, in the Netherlands and came to this country with her parents at the age of 2.

She was married Jan. 11, l911, at Orange City. Mr. Giesen died Oct. 30, 1947. Mrs. Giesen was a member of the First Reformed Church of Orange City. They lived in Orange City since marriage. She had resided in the Pleasant Acres nursing home at Hull the last two years.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Betty) De Jong of Orange City; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
