Nehemiah Cushing
Son of Reverend Theophilus Cushing and Mary Jacob Thaxter, grandson of Honorable Daniel Cushing and Lydia Clark Gilman, Captain John Thaxter and Elizabeth Jacob.
He was the husband of Sarah Nichols, the daughter of Nathaniel Nichols and Sarah Lincoln. They were married 19 Mar 1711 in Hingham, and had seven children:

* Elijah Cushing 1713-1786
* Rachel Cushing, Mrs Edward Thomas 1714-1794
* Mary Cushing 1717-1724
* Theophilus Cushing 1719-1788
* Nehemiah Cushing 1721-1762

Secondly, he was the second husband of Hannah Loring, the daughter of Caleb Loring and Lydia Gray. They were married 05 Sept 1750 in Plymouth and had no children. Hannah died in 1776, and is buried in the Center Cemetery, Pembroke.
