Will Askew of Casselton, N. Dak. Killed While Working On His Farm
Word was received here that Will Askew, a former resident of Menahga, was thrown from a disc Wednesday forenoon while at work on his large farm and died a few hours later from injuries received. No details of the accident were obtainable at the time this paper went to press. Funeral services will be at Casselton Saturday.
Deceased was a son of the late Col. Joseph Askew, pioneer hotel man of Menahga and later of Wadena, and was well known by the older residents of Sebeka and vicinity. The Askew brothers, Will and Sam, operated a several hundred acre farm near Casselton, N.D. for a number of years and the farmer's tragic death will be learned with deep regret by his old friends in Wadena county.
