Emma Fitzgerald was born in Wayne county September 9, 1847 and died March 28, 1911 in Jasper Twp. She married Pierson Grice November 9, 1872. He died about 20 years ago. They had four children, one daughter died 13 year ago. She leaves one son, Lee Grice, and two daughters, Mrs. Fred [Nellie] Bobbett and Mrs. Lon [Grace] McNeeley, nine grandchildren, and one sister. Burial in South Thomas Prairie cemetery.
