Mrs. Fowler died January 1st at Franklin Parish Hospital at the age of 86. A native of Chatham, she was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Verna F. Smith, Winnsboro; one brother, J. E. Browder, Winnsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Fowler, Monroe, Mrs. Doyce Phillips, Winnsboro, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Lee Fowler, George Allen Price, Aubrey Browder, Calvin Foster, Bob Parker and John Parker.
