Claude died in his home in Chesterfield on Tuesday, April 21, 1959. He was born August 3, 1891, near Summitville, in Grant Co., In., to Joseph E and Harriett Mary (Shafer) Dean. He married Minnie Beebout - October 5, 1910 in Madison Co., Indiana. He was a retired auctioneer.
Survivors include: his wife, Minnie, three sons, Loren and Irvin, Anderson; and Darrell, Minneapolis, Mn.; two daughters, Mrs. Garnet Carpenter and Mrs. Harriett Tucker, both of Anderson; a brother, Charles D., N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Luella Dickerson, Gas City, Ind., and two grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Brown and Butz Funeral Home. Burial to be in the Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
