Son of Judge Edward Scott and Sarah C. Haines Scott. Brother to Charles Scott (F.A.G. #11426113)

After looking closely at the following "original documents," his name was "Hampden." Many people only assumed that his name was Hamilton or Abraham because he was generally called "Ham".
*In 1821 on a Knox Co. Court of Pleas Document #4038/376, his name was written as Hamden Sidney Scott.

Ham owned farm land in Fountain City, Knox Co., TN. Sometime in 1850's, he purchased more farm land in Claiborne Co., TN where settle on for the rest of his l ife.

Hampden's estate was being finalized by the "Letters of Administration" on 2 March 1885 in Claiborne Co.,TN.

The burial location is part of the land which Ham owned. It was also said to have been "originally an Indian Burial ground" per Paul Johnson.
