Graveside service for Helen Virginia Brune, 91, Holton, will be 11:30 am, Wednesday July 3, 2013, at Clinton Cemetery. She died Saturday June 29, 2013, at Holton Community Hospital.

She was born September 12, 1921, near Stull, the daughter of Roy R. and Martha I. Bidinger Deskins.

She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1939. She retired from the Kansas Industries for the Blind, and previously worked for Slimmaker Dress Factory, Holton, the Sunflower Army Munitions Plant, DeSoto. She enjoyed playing softball and cards.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon S. Cochren, Circleville, KS, Deb Dillner and husband Tim, Mayetta, KS; one stepdaughter Jerri Lou Wright, Highland, CA; two sons, Duane Dreyer and late wife Bobby, Hoyt, KS and Ron Dreyer, Hoyt, KS; fourteen grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 8 am to 8 pm Tuesday, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 10 am, Wed. at the funeral home and proceed to Clinton cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.
