MONTAGUE CITY -- Anita A. Bruno, 62, of 340 Montague City Road, formerly of Colrain, died Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Farren Care Center.

She was born in Montague, Nov. 24, 1949, the daughter of Ernest A. and Pearl R. (Jepson) Bruno. She attended Arms Academy in Shelburne Falls and was a member of the first graduating class from Mohawk Trail Regional High School in Buckland.

From 1970 until they moved the plant operation, she was employed by Kendall Mills in Griswoldville. She was then employed by the former Anchorage Nursing Home in Shelburne. Her last employment was the former Mohawk Manor Rest Home in Shelburne Falls.

Anita was a member of St. John the Baptist Mission Church in Colrain.

She is survived by her brother, Larry of Colrain; half-brother, Robert Bruno of Florida; nephew, Michael Bruno of Colrain, and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her half-sister, Joan Adamcik.

A private graveside service will be held in West Branch Cemetery, Colrain.
