Pearl Rose Jepson married Ernest A Bruno Jun 22, 1946 in Buckland, MA.

COLRAIN -- Pearl R. ( Jepson ) Bruno, 82, of 20 High St., Griswoldville, died Wednesday (5-28-03), at home.

Born in Whitingham, Vt., Feb. 24, 1921, she was the daughter of Leon and Della (Underwood) Jepson . She was a 1938 graduate of Arms Academy in Shelburne Falls.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed for several years by the Mohawk Trail Regional School District in the cafeteria of Colrain Central School.

A member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Shelburne Falls, she attended its mission church, St. John the Baptist, in Griswoldville.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Shelburne Falls Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8503.

Bruno enjoyed ceramics, pencil-art kits and crossword puzzles.

Her husband, Ernest A. Bruno, died Aug. 26, 1996.

Survivors include a daughter, Anita of Griswoldville, with whom she lived; two sons, Larry of Griswoldville and Robert and his wife, Mary, of Sebastian, Fla.; five grandchildren, Lynn Fales and Susan Buffum, both of Westfield, Jeffrey Adamcik of Pahrump, Nev., Diane Kraichnan of Dublin, N.H., and Michael Bruno of Heath; a great-granddaughter, Kelly Buffum of Westfield, and several nieces and nephews.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church. Burial will be in West Branch Cemetery.
