Hazel L. (Smith) Rohrbaugh, 94, died at 1:40 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Misericordia Convalescent Home. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Rohrbaugh who died on February 25, 1986. Memorial service Thursday at Asbury United Methodist Church, York, officiating, Reverend Dr. Paul Stambach, a pastor of Asbury U. M. Church. Private graveside service was held at Mt. Rose Cemetery. Mrs. Rohrbaugh was born November 18, 1910, in Mount Airy, Md. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Jesse (Plaine) Smith. She was a homemaker for her family and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in York. Mrs. Rohrbaugh is survived by three children Gloria Stambach of York; Roy Rohrbaugh of York and Marianne Maurer of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and one sister Ruby Frey of Manchester. Mrs. Rohrbaugh was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. [York Daily Record]
