Ethelbert Rush, sr., 68, prominent farmer, died at his farm a half mile north of here on U. S. 41 at 5 o'clock this morning.

Born in Illinois. April 27, 1871, Mr. Rush married Lillie B. Astell, February 23, 1896. She and the son survive, also two brothers and three sisters: Claude Rush, Lemon Grove, Calif.; Charles Rush, Iowa City. Ia.; Mrs. Fannie Johnson. Middleville, Ohio; Mrs. John Bruhn, Broadland, IL; and Mrs. Nellie Parks, Hale, Mo.

Mr. Rush was a well known farmer and dairyman, retiring from the latter business three years ago.
