Ethelbert (Bertie) Rush, 54, an electrician at Purdue University, died at 8 m. Saturday in St. Joseph's hospital at Kirkwood, Mo.
A native of Broadlands, IL ,he grew up here and was graduated from high school m 1933
He was married to Fern Hooker in 1934 at Bloomington, IL, and had farmed in Benton County.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Surviving with the widow and daughter are another daughter, Mrs. Lola Miller of Lafayette; a son, James, of Boswell, and two half brothers, Robert O. Burns of Frankfort and Carol Burns.
