Mrs. Wirch Dies at Noxon Home
Thompson Falls--Mrs. Gottlieb Wirch, 69, died early Thursday at her home in Noxon following a long illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Noxon Community church by Rev. Clarence Taber. Burial will be in Noxon cemetery.
Mrs. Wirch was born Magdalena Motz, March 2, 1881, in South Russia. She came to the United States as a young child and on March 15, 1901, she married Gottlieb Wirch at Forbes, N. D. The family came to Noxon in 1938 from Glasgow.
She is survived by her widower here; three sons, Ernest of McNary, Ore., Edwin of Renton, Wash., and Benjamin of Mills, Wyo.; one daughter, Ollie Stover of Noxon; three brothers, John, David and Gottlieb Motz and one sister, Katherine Schmierer, all of California.
