Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Beshea, age 81, will be held Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Bailey Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jeffery Hanson officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill, LA.
Visitation will be held Thursday at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Mr. Beshea was born December 7, 1928 in Springhill, LA to Willie D. and Elsie Mae Powell Beshea and passed away February 16, 2010 in Minden, LA. He was a lifelong resident of this area, attended Stateline Baptist Church and had worked for International Paper Company of 39 years. He will be remembered as a gentle kind hearted man and loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Sue Lemay and husband, Mike of Sarepta, LA, Dorothy Underwood and husband, Mike of Shongaloo, LA; very loving companion of 14 years, Evelyn Ratliff; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Jeff Hanson and wife, Marie, Cortney Wall Berry and husband, Michael, Troy Wall and wife, Casey, Jodi Underwood Harris and husband, Jason, Karmen Underwood, Kevin Beshea and wife, Mandy, Kerri Beshea Martin and Chris; eleven great grandchildren; sister, Lorene Branton of Shreveport, LA; brothers, Earl Beshea of Taylor, AR, Dearl Beshea of Sarepta, LA, Dee Beshea of Shreveport, LA, Junior Beshea of Shreveport, LA and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Beshea was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Charles Eugene Beshea and a daughter, Brenda Kay Wright.
Pallbearers will be Troy Wall, Jason Harris, Ted Bright and Zachary Hanson.
