Funeral services for J.C. Duncan, 78, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2004, at Williams-McCracken Chapel, Barbara Trussell and Jim Laney officiating, with burial in Kemp Baptist Cemetery.

Williams-McCracken Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Duncan died Wednesday, April 14, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 29, 1925, in Winston County to Bud and Josie Compton Duncan. He retired from the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Harper Duncan of Hanceville; a son, Benny Knighten of Cullman; a daughter, Linda (Robert) Wilsford of Cullman; a daughter-in-law, Paula Knighten of Cullman; two brothers, D.J. Duncan of Danville and Leburn Duncan of Hartselle; five grandchildren, Brittany Willis, Tyler Willis, Austin Willis, Angie Knighten and Ginger Bicate; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Thursday.
