Although he was born and died in Kansas City, Missouri, William lived most of his life in Kansas City, Kansas, and his business was based there.

Two of William's three children are linked. The other son, John Robert Foley, died August 27, 1995 in Leavenworth County, Kansas, but I do not have burial information for him.

[William was my third cousin once removed. Our common relatives were Pardon Austin, 1764-1847, and Rhoda Stanton, 1775-1858 (approximate dates) from Delaware County, New York.]
