FRANK H. BOYDSTON
Frank H. Boydston, 62, of 217 E. Sheen Ave., East Peoria, a native of Galesburg, died Friday at 10:05 a.m. he had been ill since September.
Mr. Boydston was born in Galesburg, Feb. 19, 1857, and was married to Irene Boynton Aug 6, 1925 in East Peoria.
He was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church of East Peoria. He had been a yard conductor of the Toledo, Peoria and Western Railway 30 years. He had been, Republican Party committeeman 30 years in the precinct where he resided.
Mr. Boydston was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainman, and had served as member of the Sanitary District board of Peoria, once having held the post of [president. He had served as treasurer of East Peoria, and had been associated with the Fond Du Lac Park Board and Old Timer Club.
Surviving are the wife; a niece, Mrs. Joy Collins, who was reared by the Boydston, and a brother, Everett of Fresno, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Parlor at Eat Peoria, with the Rev. Joseph Fennen, pastor of St. Monica's Church in charge. Burial will be in Maquon cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
