One of the oldest German residents of Oswego died last night when Mrs. Fredericka Buske passed away at the family home in Murray street She had the blessing of length of days ?? to her and reared up a family of eleven children who with but a single exception survive her. She also had forty-seven grand children, forty of whom are living. Mrs. Buske was a good woman in all the word implies, good of heart and action, performing the duties of life without complaint. She had been ill nearly a year and her death was inevitable. The deceased was seventy eight years old and was born in Germany November 13, 1842, She was married there April 18, 1864, to Frederick Buske and they came to this country in 1872. For several years Mr. Buske was employed on the farm of Dr. MacFarlane and they lived there. Then Mr. Buske purchased a place on Murray street and occupied this place until the end of their married life. Mr Buske died a few years ago. Mrs Buske was a member of the German Lutheran St. Paul's church and a member of the Sisterhood of that church. None was more faithful than she in attention to the duties of her religion. She was constant in her attendance at the services, like many of her fellow countrymen walking several miles to attend devotions. Surviving sons are; Henry, Albert, Frederick, William, James aabd Walter, daughters; Mrs A. W. Schauffler, Mrs.Frank Paschke, Mrs. Rhenhold Paschke and Mrs Frank Sova.
