The death of Mrs. Bertha Schaufler, aged 49 years and wife of Albert W Schaufler , letter carrier occurred at the Hospital yesterday following a lingering illness. The remains were moved to the family home. Born in Germany she came to this country when she was 3 years old and has lived in Oswego nearly her whole life. Mrs Schaufler was a member of the German Lutheran Church. Surviving besides her husband are three sons; Christopher W, Albert W and Walter F and three daughters; Hilda and Ruth Schaufler and Mrs Leona Damon. She also leaves six brothers, Henry, Albert, Frederick, William, James and Walter and three sisters; Mrs Augusta Paschke, Mrs Frank Solvay and Mrs Rhineholdt Paschke.
