Polly Davis was probably born in Goshen, Lincoln Co., GA where her father farmed and had a store. She was the oldest of the 11 children born to Samuel S. and Nancy Hughes Davis. On Jan 31, 1819, she married Dr. Stephen Pelham Willson in Goshen. They were the parents of 6 children. The oldest, Hiram Abiff, was born in Georgia in 1821. The 2nd, Caroline Amanda, was born in 1823, place unknown. She died before 1830. By 1825, the family was in AR with her siblings and her mother. Her father died Feb 27, 1823, possibly in GA.
According to the "Willson Story" by Matt Willson, Polly was described by Lucinda Barnes, wife of Sam H. Barnes, as "being small but the most beautiful woman she ever saw."

The daughter who is not linked below is Emily Caroline Willson, wife of Henry West. They are both buried in Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville, Tyler co. TX.
