Ethel P. McInturff, 89, Neosho, died Jan. 7, 2015 at Medicalodge, following several months of ill health. Ethel was born Aug. 18, 1925 in Granby, the daughter of Norman and Cleva (Fullerton) Porter. She was a lifelong area resident and had worked as a bookkeeper for Robinson Davis Lumber Company. She was a member of the Neosho Area Widow to Widow Group and a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ. Ethel married Harold Estes McInturff on Sept. 5, 1948 in Neosho and he preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2000. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Friend and husband, Jim of Neosho; Kristi Berner and husband, Clyde of Granby; two sons, Loy McInturff and wife, Susan of Bremerton, WA and Lowell McInturff and wife, Twyla of Purdy; one brother, Rex Porter of Naples, FL; nine grandchildren, Nathan McInturff, Laban McInturff, Katie Taylor, Kali Hayes, Carrie McInturff, Jon McInturff, Rile Friend, Lafe Friend and Zane Berner and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Danny Boggs and Don Deffenbaugh will officiate. Interment will be in the Granby Memorial Cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
