Evelyn Collinsworth Martin, 85, Neosho, died Jan. 18, 2013 at Freeman West in Joplin, following a lengthy illness. Evelyn was born Aug. 12, 1927 in Ritchey, MO, the daughter of Norman and Cleva (Fullerton) Porter. She was a lifelong area resident, a homemaker and was known for the knitted dishrags she made and shared with many. She was a member of Rocketdyne Road Church of Christ. Evelyn married Howard Collinsworth, who preceded her in death. She is survived by three daughters, Alma Stipp and husband, Ray of Neosho; Lesa Thomlinson and husband, Carl of Neosho; and Amy Cole and husband, David of Cassville; one son, Allan Collinsworth of Neosho; a brother, Rex Porter of Naples, FL; a sister, Ethel McInturff of Neosho; a brother in law, Charles Collinsworth of Granby; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by an infant son, Johnny; a granddaughter, Macey Thomlinson and a brother, Rue Porter.
