Richmond Democrat, Richmond, Mo. 1-20-1881: Death of an Aged Citizen. On the 12th of January, 1881, Jackson Allen, died at his house, near Lawson, at the advanced age of about 85. He was one among the first settlers of the county, and had done much to bring about the state of cultivation to be found in his section. He was a generous, kind hearted man, and his loss will be sincerely mourned.
